One of the places that we think does not get a ton of respect is the rise of 3D printers over the last few years. We definitely know that they are awesome and make prototyping a lot easier than it has ever been. By doing that it has allowed some people that would have never entered the startup world to make some pretty amazing things. Additionally getting them into the hands of kids will have an insanely positive impact on future makers and builders.
Now we not know much about the intricate details of 3D printing but we can usually spot a good product when we see one.
